For my intended purpose I really like this weighted vest. I got it to use with my walking pad, to up my game a bit. I love that you can adjust the weight of the vest by adding or removing the beanbag-like weights, to your liking. There are 10 of these bags, weighing 1 pound each, and they're pretty easy to get into and out of the pouches, which are positioned around the vest (2 on the front left, 2 front right, and 6 on the back). It's nice feature to be able to start off using the vest with less bags inserted, making it lighter, and then working up to the full 10 pounds, if you choose. The vest also seems like it will hold-up nicely because of the quality of the materials used and the substantial stitching, throughout. Even the weighted beanbags feel nicely packed and stitched, though maybe not as substantially as the vest itself. But I don't see a problem there because they would easily last at least a hundred times of taking them out and putting them back in, and I can't imagine needing to do that more than a handful of times, let alone a hundred. Another nice feature is that it has a few reflective bands, one across the top of the back and two smaller ones on either side of the front, for those who intend to use it outdoors at night. Overall it's a really nice vest that I would defiantly recommend. I did however remove one star because the sizing is a bit snug. It works for me and it even fit my boyfriend, but if you're larger than say a size 12 (US women's) or wear an XL t-shirt for a man, I'm not sure it would fit you. Read more
This weighted vest is really nice. I tried a 15 lbs weighted vest before with weights that could not be removed, and I immediately had 2 problems. (1) 15 lbs was apparently too much to start with. After 2 weeks of wearing it for 30 min a day, my shoulders hurt so bad I had to take a break from it for a month. (2) There was no way to wash it. I was, obviously, so glad to have the opportunity to try this one. This has two adjustable straps in front, and 2 on the side. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and I was able to adjust the straps to fit me. Then, with my prior experience, I took out all of the weights except 4, and slowly added more weights every 2 weeks. So far so good. Because the weights are removable, I am also able to wash it once a week so it doesn't stink. I'm totally in love with this. When I'm used to 10 lbs, I hope they come out with higher weights. Adding weights to your walks is supposed to help with bone density, so I'm really excited about this. Read more
I think this is a pretty nice weighted vest, though it isn’t perfect. The weights are bulkier than another vest I own, but they’re removable, which is the best feature of this design. Each weight is jointed in the middle, so when folded they can feel a little puffy and make the vest seem bulkier overall. It includes 10 removable weights, with six pouches on the back and four on the front. The vest fits securely, but I’d estimate that it’s best suited for users up to around 250 pounds, possibly a bit less for women. At the time I ordered, it was priced around $50, and there was a $10 coupon available. That’s a fair price for what you get, and it would be an excellent value in the $30–$35 range. The reflective pattern at the top looks more decorative than functional. I thought it appeared slightly feminine, though my wife said it just looks like a rock pattern. Overall, this is a solid weighted vest with good adjustability and removable weights. It should work well for most people, and I recommend it. Read more

My son asked for a weighted vest to help with working out and to build his back strength. He has planned on wearing throughout his school day but decided he couldn’t because the weight comes from these bean bag like pouches and it would be a little to bulky to fit under his hoodie. However he still likes it for working out and walking. It’s is in fact 10lbs and you definitely feel it when wearing it. I would say if your are a larger person be mindful that it might not latch together but you still get the benefits from wearing it. Read more
I've seen other ladies out walking with weighted vests and so I ordered this 10 pound adjustable vest. It was the only size offered, with straps that are adjustable. First off, just carrying the box inside, I could tell this was a lot heavier than I expected! But that would be OK, because weights are removable. For reference, I'm overweight - 5'2" and 170 pounds. And busty and have a belly (that I'd like to walk off). With the weights all in, the straps had to be adjusted to nearly their widest part. The top strap went right above my chest. And the bottom strap, right below, right were the bottom of the bra is. See my photo with a ruler and decide where this might hit on you. My chest was pushed up and out in a very embarrassing way. I'd never go out in public this way. If you were a smaller lady, not as heavy, this vest may close together better and not outline your bust above, below, and to the far right and far left quite this way. Read more
