Customers say

Customers find these hiking boots comfortable, stylish, and of high quality, with plenty of room for foot width and toes. One customer mentions they need a few hikes to find their foot balance. The boots receive mixed feedback regarding support and sturdiness, with one customer noting they feel very sturdy while another finds them more rigid than other barefoot shoes.

Fits Human Being from Earth !!

GH SolutionsNovember 29, 2025

Bingo! Tried a lot of "zero drop" boots. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars, dozens of hikes, two dozen purchase/returns .. they all have their own foot to fit. This one fits me well. For some reason shoe companies have no idea what a human foot looks like. People just buy what their favorite sultry singer or sports stooge says to wear. This shoe will fit your foot if you are a human being native to Earth. Plenty of room for your foot width and toes. They style is fine, they have held up okay for the price, they are out of the box comfortable but don't hit the Appalachian Trail day one, they need a few hikes to find your foot balance to shoe form. If you are actually concerned about a waterproof boot you are not actually a hiker .. it's okay someone needed to talk you; now go fill your Yeh-Tea Mug back up with overpriced whiskey and marble ice rocks while I finish this review. The weight is incredibly light and you have room for preferred insoles should you decide to defeat the zero drop design with support or extra cushion. Even thick socks work when usually it's smashed flat by the tongue. Oh the tongue, you either hate it or love it. I tried flattening the creases out but the design is to have them and oddly enough they are extraordinarily comfortable. I have ordered a second pair for when the expected weakness of the boot to sole crease near the outside toe edge splits. Happy to find a shoe that fits human feet !!! Read more

Great looking and well-made!

TamfitzOctober 25, 2025

These hiking boots are not only adorable, they are very comfortable! I haven’t tested them on the trails yet, but they look to be very well-made and I’m sure we’ll stand the test! I can wear either a size 7 or 7.5 shoe, and the size 7 fit me best. Read more

Size up

KimberlyDecember 9, 2025

I typically wear 8.5-9W, these run small so I’d have to size up to 9.5. Toe box not as wide as I’m used to in European barefoot shoes but it’ll work. Soles will be slippery on ice, but otherwise these are comfy and stylish. I like that the sole has a decent stack so you’re not freezing yet they’re still stable and flexible. Read more

Warm, comfortable, room for winter socks

TDecember 5, 2025

This isn't my first pair of Xero's but it is my first pair of Xero boots. I live in the PNW so need something that can hold up to the weather. I always spray my boots with waterproofing so I can't say how waterproof they were fresh out of the box but as of right now they have kept my feet warm and dry. They are a bit roomier than the Xero shoes which is perfect as it leaves room for thicker socks. They are great quality and I think worth the cost. Read more

High quality, not pitching toes

Great shoes, feels very sturdy. More rigid that other barefoot shoes, but it is expected for hiking boots. Nice wide toebox. Read more

Great so far

Fit as expected. I have a pair of Prio's so no surprise. Did take a long time to shop but that was disclosed up front at purchase. Read more

Too short, toe hits front of boot.

Andrea BrysonNovember 13, 2025

Nice looking boots, but too short! I am a small size 8 and these were way too short on me. My toe hit the front and could definitely tell immediately they would not work. An 8.5 will probably fit better…I had to return. Read more

Thicker soles-Very comfortable

Janice HNovember 25, 2025

Extremely comfortable. The bottoms are thicker for hiking and I can tell the difference and I sense that it makes me more comfortable for longer walks. I like the high tops because they give me better ankle support. I bought the white ones because they were cheaper. I am not sure how well they will clean up so will most likely use them on well groomed paths Read more
