I wear these shoes to work all the time. I love that they don’t squish my toes. They are cute for barefoot shoes. I can walk all day and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. The black leather is great and goes well with pants and dresses. I wear no-show socks or tights with them. I ordered my usual size. Although the one panel that seems to be an animal print texture isn't my favorite, I still really like these shoes. (I noticed the website shows these in an all-black no animal print version now) I got them a little bigger than I normally would, based on other reviews, but it seems to have worked out. It will give me a bit of space if I wear tights in winter. They do seems oddly wide in the middle, but they did stay on. I got these ballet flats to wear for my son's wedding in Colorado. The ceremony was at a mountain overlook and these were perfect for the walk from the parking lot to the site. (Dirt/gravel path) Others felt they had to wear sneakers under their long dresses, but my Xeros got me there and back without any damage to them. Wide toebox, zero drop, dressy exterior -- I need a few more of these. I didn't have the big toe rubbing problem that a few others mentioned. I really want to love these shoes. They are nice looking, but I've had to go to great lengths and multiple exchanges to find a size I can use...and somehow the running shoes by xero run larger than the dress shoes. Finally got the "right" size, but the toe box is tight and hard and also presses down on my toes, while the remainder of the shoe is very loose. So, to stand in the shoes, I must take out the liners, but if I want to walk a few steps, I have to put them back in. Neither way is comfortable or worth the money. Read more

I love these shoes. I bought them after I got into barefoot running and decided I didn’t want to wear heels anymore. Honestly, I never liked heels to begin with — but now that I know how bad they are for your feet, I’ll never go back. These barefoot ballet flats are a great alternative when I need something dressier. I wear them to church every Sunday and anytime I need a simple, more polished shoe. They’re comfortable enough for short periods, which is perfect for me because as soon as I sit down, I usually slip them off. I love that they’re easy to take on and off — that’s precisely what I wanted. I wouldn’t say they’re like authentic ballet slippers because they’re not snug (which I actually prefer). They’re just basic, black, flat shoes — nothing fancy or overly stylish, but they get the job done. I mostly wear them in the winter since they cover my feet and keep them a bit warmer. In the summer, I switch to my flat sandals. I don’t wear socks or stockings with them, so if I have them on too long, my feet do sweat a bit and stick to the inside. Leather is nice but there's absolutely no vertical wiggle room for your toes in these. Pinches the toes even though it's the right size! So they're unwearable to me :( Read more

I ushered 7 shows a week for 2 months off-broadway wearing these and it's the first time I haven't ended the days with foot pain. I don't necessarily have wide feet, but I had bunion surgery and I try to give the front of my feet as much space as I can. These fit really perfectly, and even if I didn't wear socks, they didn't get smelly. They're cute, but definitely not a compliment-getter, which is totally fine by me because I'm not exactly a shoe person (see: bunion surgery at a young age.) I purchased the black leather version. These shoes have the most comfortable toe box of all flats I have tried. They are dressy enough to wear in a business casual office. The sole is great if you are used to minimalistic shoes. I initially tried them on around my house and they felt great. However, when I wore them to work for a full day, they cut into my heel so badly that I bled through the shoe. I do not recommend wearing these for a full day without a backup plan in case you have a similar problem. Not sure if I can return them since they are damaged now. Read more

Cute and comfy! I have a wide foot, narrow heal and need a wide toe box ..these work for me. They could have more support and I wouldn't trek in them.
