Sigh. It cools down my bedroom pretty well if the door is closed in the heat of summer. But a whole 1 bedroom? Forget about it. Get something stronger. Plus it makes weird noises and mine leaks. Read more
Ridiculously easy to set up and install. I was first using it in an attic space that was extremely hot with a small window and for the Wind Attachment I ended up Tracing a piece of cardboard Because the window itself was too small But it worked great Period When I moved into my new apartment My mover Never Grab the window attachments or The vent So I borrowed Event And window pieces From a friend Old unit Period with a little bit of Tape in Ingenuity It worked great Period Overheat In the summertime And sometimes It causes A seizure So it's really nice To have A unit that works well Period It definitely covers 400 square feet but I wouldn't try pushing much more than that, I mean it can but ideal Cooling is within 400 ft. When I first moved into my new apartment I thought I was going to have this in the kitchen but had to move it to the living room and then I rearranged things a few times thankfully this is super easy to move and it's pretty lightweight I've had to prop it on chairs or other furniture to save on floor space. It's pretty quiet when it's running. Sometimes I can't tell if it's on as in running or if it's just the fan I have going next to it. I keep a fan next to it so the fan can move the cool air in the direction of bedroom. When it reaches my desired temperature, it shuts off, not powered off though. It has a sleep mode, dehumidifier and fan. Plus, you can change it between Fahrenheit and Celsius. It also has a timer. And probably the best thing about it, I've only ever had to empty the water once so far this summer. Other portable floor models I've had, they've needed to be emptied sometimes once a day. And they needed to have a drain and a bucket for the water to go from the drain. This unit has that capability but I don't need to use it Read more
Unit has mesh filter on side but not on the condenser/ radiator in back, which means air can and does enter from outside... and pet hair, dust etc. will clog the cooling fins eventually with no way to clean it. But that's not the worst thing... The first one I received two days ago worked beautifully for FIVE whole minutes before developing a knocking noise inside. On high speed the knocking was way too loud for comfort... and pretty scary. So I left it on low speed and felt I could probably be okay with the noise. Little did I realize things were going to get worse. Within the next 20 minutes the blower fan knocked all the fan blades into pieces inside the unit and that was the end of that. No more air. No more cooling. Unfortunately I had stepped out for tacos after 10 minutes and when I returned the damage was already done. This unit killed itself in 30 minutes!! So I got an identical replacement today. (Thank you Amazon). This new one thankfully blows air without the knocking noise BUT... the compressor for cooling only comes on for 30 seconds (if that), turns off and reverts back to hot warm air for 7 or 8 minutes. Compressor will come on for 30 seconds (if that) and shuts off for another 7 or 8 minutes... repeating this cycle over and over. I have ordered a different brand. Two in a row with different issues that render then worthless for what they are used for is unacceptable. Be wary, fellow shopper. Great airflow and louvers is the only good thing I can say about this particular unit(s). Read more

We have had multiple in room ax units over the years and this one was so noisy. When it kicked the ac on the unit shut off and then kicked right back on with water running sound and buzzing. Interrupted our sleep every night until we couldn’t take it and returned it. It blew cold but the abrupt start and stop throughout the night wasn’t worth it. Read more
Bought this as an extra air conditioner to cool off my downstairs once I put the baby to bed and close the door. Cools off the room very quickly. Was easy to put in the window. Was a good price. Kind of annoying though because it needs to be drained or have a drain hose and then the bucket needs to be drained. Read more
