This is advertised as less than 55 decibles in sleep mode. It is 70 decibles and compressor makes a grating vibration rattle. Three stars because it cools great and window kit is solid. Don't get it for a bedroom! I have reached out to the seller to see if there is a fix. But I have a feeling I'll be returning it. Read more

We really needed this!!! We have a large bedroom over our two-car garage, and it's very poorly insulated. It's unbearable during our 95-degree Georgia summers. This unit makes all the difference in the world! It was very easy to install and use. It cools the whole room perfectly, which takes the load off the main upstairs A/C unit, resulting in all 3 bedrooms and the bathroom being cool and comfortable! The remote is nice. The controls are easy to use. If you lose the remote, all controls are also on the unit itself. It's a good size - not too bulky. It's a nice "white noise" sound when it's on fan; it's occasionally "buzzy" sounding when it's on A/C mode. About once an hour, it turns off (or all the noises stop), then immediately turns back on. None of this is really bothersome. It would be great if the manufacturer could add an intake filter. Other than that, it's fantastic! Read more
This is a very compact portable unit. The unit is not too noisy and it seems to cool down fast. It can be used as a dehumidifier. It comes with a remote control which is nice. All the parts seem well made. One thing I notice is that the vent where the air comes out you have to open it. I know my other portable AC opens automatically and can oscillate. I don’t consider this bad because you can adjust this where to you want it to blow. While it seemed to be nicely packaged obviously it had been dropped somewhere along the way. There was damage to the top part of the vent but it can still be used. I ran this in my garage to cool it down. It worked great. Read more
