I bought an electronic item from what was an obvious non-American seller. Correspondence was "odd" so I felt better if I'd better spend a few $$ more for extended insurance coverage. Turns out the seller decides to fail to comprehend the warranty terms for the car stereo. They were so happy to extend how pleased they were with my purchase & how they are always here/there to assist if ever needed... etc. etc. etc.... that is UNTIL they were needed to stand behind their product that quit working & needed warranty repair. Suddenly they stopped corresponding & I remembered the Asurion extended insurance I bought coverage for this device. I followed Asurion procedure, filed a claim, uploaded requested documentation & information about the device malfunctioning. I expected to need to wait a few more days to hear whether the stereo was covered under the policy purchased. I received a positive response within 2days of submitting the requested documents & boxing up the item & shipping it off. I was very relieved to find out that my gut feeling about purchasing the extended insurance coverage because my feeling about the seller & the electronic car stereo from CHINA was such a great purchase. I'm out a worthless car stereo, some personal time installing, uninstalling & returning the broken piece of crap that I bought & the seller suddenly "FORGOT" about a so called valued customer. My ps5 pro dual sense pro controller experienced water damage. The process to ship it out was easy. However, after a one day turn around they sent me my controller that no longer has water damage. However, they stole my extra stick module from the ps5 pro controller case. Additionally, the controller they sent back had a damaged left stick module that I could not easily fix because they stole my spare parts. I am hesitant to ever use this insurance again; however, I have to return it once more to get it fix. I do not recommend this for anyone who is getting a controller. What a scam of a company. After purchasing the protection plan for my smartwatch, even though I was hesitant, I was really hoping nothing would ever go wrong, right? But it did, and I'm glad I made the purchase, in the end. I had to send my watch in for repair (A whole different complaint in itself). UPS lost it and would not deal with me, because I printed the label from them myself (from Asurion, a third party) and then had it scanned in for a drop off at a UPS in-store return location (Inside a Staples). Don't make that mistake! Have UPS print the label themselves. After calling Asurion, to check 9 days later, with no contact. I felt like I was getting the run around, going back-and-forth with UPS and an Asurion Cust. Serv. Rep. Finally, I had to ask for a supervisor, who saw my complaint through and got me a full refund for my watch. I know not everyone has success, but don't let frustration win.
