Ease of Claim but annoying in between
I purchased a 4 yr extended warranty for a small household item and it broke down 2 months after the1 yr manufacturers warranty. Claimed with Asurion was an easy process and they did refund me the full amount of the purchase. Only rated 4 out of 5 because in between the submission and actual payment, they keep sending 5 identical emails a day stating ’your claim is under review’ every single day. Yes, it’s annoying. Amazing service. I bought this insurance for a fancy Chinese bidet toilet I bought on Amazon. After a bit over a year the water heater went out, as did an LED segment in the readout. After a call and a few photos, they told me to give them 3 business days for them to find a technician. True to their word, they called back 3 days later. They were not able to find a technician, so they refunded the purchase price. I'm still out the sales tax and the price of the plan, but it's a 100% win for me. I will continue to cover my purchases with these plans. Read more
