It took me 2 days & hours from my life when I tried to initially call Amazon about how to use my warranty. But after being disconnected several times & promised help that didn’t come I finally put on my smart hat & googled how to contact Asurian. Once I did that, I found their website as slick as snot & saw that I had 2 warranties with them for Amazon purchases (a little creepy as I didn’t know that I had opted to “give” them that level of knowledge about me), I clicked on the link for the broken product & within 2 days I was issued a gift certificate on Amazon. So, also be aware of what you’re getting. You are probably not getting a broken item fixed, nor are you simply getting your broken item fixed - maybe it changes in different cases? I don’t know. But I was personally given a gift certificate for Amazon that I could use anyway I wanted to, that said I wanted the thing that broke - in my case a juicer. The prices of juicers have gone up since I purchased that one & as the gift certificate was for the price of purchase at the time, in the end I had to pay more. It was still worth it for me. That said, when I was offered an Asurian warranty on the new juicer it was also for $1/more & it covered it for one less year. Read more
