The Asurion Protection plan I purchased was well worth the small amount of money to cover my purchase. The process was easy to file a claim and the reimbursement, although not immediate becasue the shipment claim needed to be processed for the return, was applied to my Amazon Account. I strongly recommend purchasing the Asurion Protection plans if the itme you are purchasing is expensive and/or you are concerned that the usage of your purchased Item may wear out. I was skeptical about Asurion, but I'm now convinced they are the real deal! We purchased a vacuum sealer and also bought the extended warranty. Two years later the machine stopped working, Found the Asurion warranty, filed the claim, sent the broken machine back via UPS with their label, and almost immediately got the full cost refund. Gonna do this warranty with Asurion more and more. Just sorry I didn't do it for the LG refrigerator that crapped out after 2 1/2 years. Read more
