As a self-employed videographer, I am always on the looking out quality equipment at a good price and this tripod did not disappoint. It is plenty sturdy to support a DSLR rig, and it has more than enough variation in height to suit all my video needs, from interviews to events. The head is easy to level, and the pan and tilt is fairly smooth but not perfect. If you are going to be following lots of motion, it might be worthwhile to invest in a higher quality tripod head, but if you are mostly going to be shooting static shots, than the stock head is more than adequate. I also really appreciate that this tripod uses a standard Manfrotto plate instead of a proprietary plate, meaning that I can easily switch between this and my other tripods without issue. I do find that the screws holding the central stabilizer braces can come loose, and do require the occasional bit of tightening, but at this price, this is not enough to ding it for. Just keep an extra baggy of screws and nuts in your gear bag, just in case. All said, I cannot imagine finding a better tripod than this for the price. I have bought two of them already, and would not hesitate to buy more if the need ever arises. Read more

Yes, I did receive the Cayer BV30L Video Tripod Kit in perfect condition. In fact, the tripod kit was delivered two days earlier than the estimated delivery date. If that's not enough for excellent customer service, please know that I ordered the tripod kit on Saturday night, May 26, 2018, which was during the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. On Monday, May 28, Memorial Day, the United States Postal Service delivered the tripod kit at 2:56 PM, Pacific Time. Great Job! You may be interested why I bought the Cayer BV30L Video Tripod Kit instead of one of your competitor's products. In order of importance and priority: 1. 72" tripod height (this is a MUST have for me - Video Recording) 2. $139.98 Best price for the high quality value of product received 3. Robust construction that includes fluid ball head. You also may be interested to know, from a source perspective, how did I learn about the Cayer BV30L Video Tripod Kit. On YouTube of course! I typed in the following search term on YouTube: "72 inch video tripod". The FIRST video listed was: Budget Video Tripod? This product performed superb while I was on location for video recordings. I have owned this tripod for over six years and it NEVER disappoints. It looks like it would cost 2-3 times as much based on the quality and durability of this amazing tripod. Pros & Cons: Pros: - It is a very solid tripod and made with very high quality. - The height of this tripod makes it my #1 for multi-camera video shoots. I can have it very high and tilted down for my talking head video shoots. - The bag is so nice and very durable as well. - The pan/tilt head has so many options. Cons: - The only con is the tilt/pan head is still pretty stiff to move. It’s a great very inexpensive tripod. Read more

Didn't know what to expect when I purchased this tripod having used the cheaper $40 tripods before that you find in Walmart and such. But, I was very happy when it arrived. A few things I noticed right away was the construction is much better than the $40 tripods, more solid feeling. It has a nice head for the camera to mount on and easy release knobs for releasing or locking down. Plus, I liked the height you can get from this tripod. Great for over a standing crowd shot. Good leg spread for stability too. It's not as light as the $40 tripods, which makes grab n go shooting a bit of a haul, but the payoff in a sound tripod that works well is worth the price difference. The only complaint after using every day for a week now, is when panning slowly, there seems to be some resistance in a few spots which makes for a not so smooth pan. Not at all a bad price or product. If you're looking for a move up to a more professional tripod but can't spend $300-$400, this one I'd recommend. Read more
