First, I want to acknowledge I’ve loved the Dell XPS 13 over the years and have bought several of them for me and my family, and have recommended them to friends. Considering the initial sale price getting one with 16gb memory for under $400 is a great value, assuming it has lots of life left -- time will tell. So, it came in its original box, with a Dell Power Cable and seemed to be ready to boot up. As always, when I get a refurb, I check the screws on the back and a few were not tight, indicating some work had been done on this. A further check revealed what seemed to be a non-OEM but seemingly OK short NVMe WD 256 drive. But, also visible was a lot of dust and tiny computer debris, indicating the seller had made no effort to blow, vac or brush the computer when it was last opened (see photo). That said, it booted up fine and has run without issue. Also, the keyboard and screen were perfect, with no blemishes. Weirdly, the Dell Logo on the back of the screen was very slightly off center, indicating it had likely been replaced by the refurb vendor. No biggie, but not something I’ve ever seen. Of course, it’s not the latest greatest (which you can’t expect with refurbished) but as long as the battery holds up and it hangs in there for a few years, this will prove to be a good buy. Its NOT as advertise. It says iris xe graphics, this is the reason i purchase this. I already have same specs but intel UHD graphics. This is misleading too bad... Tsk tsk tsk... I will the review if u can tell how to install xe graphics. The laptop is already configure as dual channel RAM. I tried reinstalling iris xe driver but no good it detects intel uhd graphics always. You should advertise this as intel uhd graphics not iris xe graphics. >:( Read more
