Update 8/10/2025- Following up on value now that a price has been added back. When comparing, many don't list size, and many that are similar are not the same size so I'm looking at double barrel models of all brands .5 inches to 1.25 inches. I feel the regular price is on the high end (there are others with the same price), and not competitive, but the price with the coupon meets or is competitive with similar models. My hair goes to my waist and has a natural wave that just looks frizzy and tangles very easily. Doing my hair is a bit of a hassle so I spend about 90% of my time with my hair in a bun, and the other 10% in a ponytail. I ordered this hoping I could either curl over or blend my natural frizzy wave. I found that the iron goes to 450 degrees quickly and the heat doesn't radiate off of it like some of my other appliances. There was a warning of an odor with the first use but there was none. I used the iron much like a crimping iron, moving from section to section. The iron is only so wide, so the length of your hair and how far up you want the wave can make a big difference on time to style. In my case there were 7-8 rows for each section of hair, making it a time consuming style. I'm sure it's much more pleasant with a shoulder length cut. After I was done, the iron produced a very natural looking beach wave that held pretty well. It even had me eyeing my blonding kit for a bit. There currently is not a price listed. When I ordered mine the price shown was significantly lower than the competition but searching the price history, it shows significantly higher than others. I wouldn't want to guess on either one, so I'll have to come back to that when it's in stock. Last note, this does not have a UL or ETL certs, but they do list the CE certification. Read more

LISTING: ATOPSKINS Hair Waving Iron White PRODUCT: LUKE + WILLOW Mermaid Style Regal Ripple Hair Waver ______________________________________________________________________ WAVE TYPE & HEAT MANAGEMENT: This creates a smaller, tighter wave—something like a loose perm. It heats up quickly, and even if I leave it plugged in for a long time before using it, the paddle stays at a temperature that’s still manageable without needing a glove. (It gets pretty hot, but I can still work without the glove.) DESIGN NOTES: I appreciate the lock feature—it keeps the blades securely closed while heating and during storage. I also like that the buttons are accessible while the iron is locked, so I can start heating it without having to unlock anything. I keep mine in an iron stand, so there’s no concern about buttons getting bumped. In a busy household, though, I could see someone wanting the buttons to be blocked from accidental activation. WHAT’S MISSING: It doesn’t have an auditory signal to tell you when to move to the next section of hair. That’s a feature I look for when I’m getting used to a new tool, because it helps establish a baseline for timing. My hair is fine, so I’m cautious about heat exposure and don’t rely solely on audio cues—but I still like the signal as backup, in case my mind has wandered. FINAL THOUGHTS This is a decent little unit that doesn’t take up much space (really, it’s about twice as wide as my flat iron). ______________________________________________________________________ Read more

I really like that it is compatible with foreign standards, which meant that I did not have to worry about converting voltages while I was traveling abroad. I only required a plug adaptor to complete my task. The performance was flawless throughout a number of nations; there was no overheating and there was no decrease in performance. In spite of its diminutive size, this curler performs quite well! I get curls that are lustrous, bouncy, and last all day long thanks to it. Because of the smooth ceramic barrel, my hair is protected from frizz and breakage, and I can simply control the degree to which I want my curls to be tight or loose. When compared to other high-heat curlers that I have used in the past, I have observed that my curls appear to be in better condition. The handle maintains its coolness, it is quite lightweight, and the travel pouch that was sent with it is a pleasant inclusion. It is even small enough to put in my gym bag or work tote, allowing me to easily update my appearance anytime I like. One of my favorite aspects is how simple and straightforward it is to use. It is not necessary to make any assumptions because the curler just has a single temperature, and it is ideal for daily style without exerting excessive force. It works wonderfully for last-minute touch-ups or for doing your entire head before you leave the house. Read more

I got the Curling Iron Hair Crimper and have been pleased with its performance. The compact 1/2-inch ceramic double barrels create consistent, natural-looking waves and tighter crimps without pulling or snagging. Heat-up is quick — about thirty seconds — so styling is efficient, and the twelve temperature settings allowed me to select a gentle level for my fine hair while still reaching higher temps for friends with thicker hair. The tourmaline ceramic finish and negative-ion technology noticeably reduced frizz and left hair smooth and shiny after styling. I also appreciated the dual-voltage capability for travel and the auto-shutoff safety feature. The design feels balanced in the hand and easy to control during use. Read more
