Great Ceramic Rice Cooker! I recently bought this Joydeem Ceramic Rice Cooker and I really like it. It arrived on time and looks exactly as described. The ceramic pot cooks rice evenly and the texture comes out perfect—soft, fluffy, and not sticky. It’s also easy to clean, which is a big plus. The size is just right for everyday meals, and I appreciate that it doesn’t leave any metallic taste since it’s ceramic. Overall, it feels well-made, simple to use, and very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a healthier, reliable, and easy-to-use rice cooker. Read more

I finally have a ceramic rice cooker not a teflon. Easy to clean, it doesn't scratch, cooks rice well. Looks great a little heavy. But overall it's a great buy. Read more

Coming to this from a Zojirushi i've had for the better part of a decade, my first impression of this is a little mixed. I love the bowl. It's a *heavy* piece of pottery. The finish on mine is a bit uneven and unattractive, but the aesthetics aren't why i bought it. It also doesn't have a graduation mark for 1 cup. It's also *not* nonstick. I've found it benefits from a quick coat of cooking spray before you load it up, but that's kinda the price we pay for no PTFE Where I think there's big room for improvement though, is the cooking interface. It's got plenty of modes I'm looking forward to trying out, but it lacks a cooking timer like the Zojirushi. One of my favorite parts of that was loading it up the night before and having fresh rice ready in the morning to pack in my work lunch. Even if these folks weren't willing to spring for a realtime clock chip in the controller, just a time delay countdown would be a welcome addition. I also don't like the always-on LED. I'm picky about what gets to make light in my kitchen at night and I'm not happy about this. Plus, it's a little thing but the light on the start button is, as far as i can tell, always blinking when it's not cooking. Read more

Ceramic pot is a big plus for obvious health reason. Its a heavy clay like pot not a coated pot like I thought with ceramic cookware. so the downside is its heavy and you could actually break it if you drop it. Still thats better than slowly leech pfas as the nonstick coating will one day get to the rice without a doubt, which is why i have to stop using my old reliable zojirushi as their inner pot eventually flakes off the nonstick coating and they do not sell replacement pot. Rice I used california rice and it cooked out soft and fluffy. It has other functions like delay and auto keep warm which are above average. First one I got arrived with cracked but they shipped a new one when I return and get it very fast. Happy overall with the rice cooker and its decently priced. Will see how the pot holds up with more uses. Read more

This replaced my VitaClay rice maker which finally died. The ceramic pot is glazed (unlike the vitaclay) but we like it. The pot is the best part. The problem is inconsistent cooking results, and unclear english language instructions. The photo is 2 plastic cups of Brown short grain rice, washed thoroughly, and water filled up right below the 2 cups of Rice line, cooked on the normal rice setting (it's not clear which setting to use, if not Rice). After one cycle, the rice isn't fully cooked and there's tons of water sitting in the bottom. I reset the machine and ran another Rice cooking cycle and then it worked - but who has time or inclination to do that? I also have had no luck making less than 2 of their serving cups of rice (about 1.5 us cups of dry rice), rice ends up over cooked and / or wet. So far I've used it about 6 times and only twice has it worked as a rice cooker is supposed to, i.e. with white rice. My results with the "multigrain" rice cooking on brown were no better, just much longer. Right now I regret getting this thing. Read more

Seems to work well and like the ceramic bowl! Won't be eating teflon with this one. Tried to buy an extra bowl from the supplier but them and Joydeem said they don't have any. Would like to be contacted once I can buy an extra since if it breaks the whole thing would need replacement if you have no backup bowl. Read more

This is a good rice cooker. It’s the second time I purchased it. It’s easy to set up, add rice and water just simply press the cook button and the start button (make sure choose the correct button for the rice type you cook) then wait for a certain time and the rice will be done soon. You don’t have to worry about anything else. It’s all automatic. Also, you can cook soup with it. I like this rice cooker. Read more
