Pretty strong when mounting iphone directly, the ring magnet that is provided is more like a plastic feel to it therefore it isn’t as strong when mounting on a case that has no magnet. With a MagSafe case or phone directly it works great , I would like to see a stronger ring magnet to mount on a non MagSafe case for this decent product. Read more

I got a new phone that allowed for magnetic charging, and I wanted a car mount for navigation as my 12-year-old car can sync with my phone audio but does not have a viewscreen. The mount fits easily & securely in my car's vent. At first I was disappointed that it did not seem to charge at all when connecting it to my car's USB port, even after removing my case & attaching my bare phone to the mount. It kept connecting & disconnecting & turning the screen off & on every 30 seconds which was HIGHLY ANNOYING & DISTRACTING. I came back here & read reviews that said buying an AC adapter USB port (which the mount's instructions also said to do) would solve this problem, so I did, and it works like a charm! I bought the same brand to make sure they were compatible. I actually like the fact that this now charges my phone without tying up my car's one USB port so it is free for something else. Win-win. My car is a 2012 Audi A3, 6 speed manual, and I love the stock minimalist interior and dash. So I'm particular about accessories, and want them to blend in well and be super functional. This magnetic charger is great. I used a cd player slot mount that I had from another non-charging phone holder, and just placed the little ball piece of this charger in there and it mounted up nice and secure. Round shape matches the dashboard vents, and the blue light looks good, overall matches this other bluetooth - aux accessory I have mounted lower on the dash. Really happy with the magnetic strength. Super simple to install. Magnet is very strong and works perfectly with MagSafe cases. I have zero concerns that it will fall off. I did have an issue where the wireless charging would turn on and off. It turned out that the usb port in my Highlander was not providing enough power to the Lisen. (Others have had the same complaint.) After I used the 12V as the source, the Lisen worked perfectly. I do wish it had faster charging. I'm sure that'll come in a future model. Btw, when I had the problems, I reached out to Lisen Customer Support. I found them to be highly responsive and eager to help fix the problem, even if that meant a refund. Read more
