This phone holder works exactly as described. The MagSafe connection is strong and keeps my phone securely in place, even on bumpy roads. This mount is great. It has strong suction and so far has not fallen off the dash, although I haven't tested it during the hot summer days yet. The magsafe magnet is also plenty strong. At this point my only knock would be that the stem is completely rigid, meaning the mount transfers any bumps right into the phone, making it move up/down/left/right along with whatever bumps you're driving over. I suppose if you have really good suspension then this won't be an issue, but in our dodge caravan there are certain stretches of road where it vibrates to the point that it's hard to focus on the phone. I previously had a more typical squeeze-type mount that had a knuckle in the arm which provided a little shock absorption, so this is just a change for me. I think the convenience of magsafe outweighs the times when the phone vibrates, so I'll keep it. Read more
This MagSafe Car Mount holds my phone secure on the many bumpy roads that I travel daily. I like the fact it allows me to position my phone in either orientation. Holy crap does this work Just buy it!
