Do you have "German" hands with extra wide palms and ridiculously short fingers? Also heard 'em called farmer's hands and clubs with vestigial fingers. Whatever you call them, if you're like me and need a medium for finger length, and a Large or XL for Palm width/thickness then these are a freaking miracle. I order them in Medium and they slip over my giant hands, most of the time I need a large or XL to get my hand into a glove. Once I do the fingertips are an inch longer than my fingers. Not so with these. These Mechanix fast fit impact gloves in a medium are just barely too long for my fingers. Which feels like an incredible fit! Plus I can slip my palm right into them. Which is crazy! They offer some protection. I use them for motorcycle riding. Since they don't "cinch" up or velcro in place they might just slide off during a crash, but at least my hand fits and I can still manipulate the controls without too much trouble. The touchscreen sort of works too. I just have to pull the fingertip tight to my finger if it's not registering on the device, then it works better. I wish the palm was thicker, or had a gel padding or something, but I know I'm not using these for their intended purpose, so I can't really complain. After trying so many dozens and dozens of gloves, I am just glad to find something that can be made too work. I use these specifically as motorcycle gloves. Plenty of padding and protection for the palms and top of the hands. This is my third pair and I generally get a couple years of solid everyday use before they become the yard working gloves. Read more

I work for a food distribution company, my daily job details require me to load boxes of product that restaurants order and deliver it into the restaurant using a two-wheeler or dolly and run up and down a ramp from the semi trailer bed. This job entails a ton of lifting boxes gripping the dolly and climbing in and out of the semi side trailer doors. On an average day I am wearing these gloves a good 8-10 hours. I have a yet time find a pair of gloves that can hold up to my job working conditions longer than one month. I have been using these gloves for about one month now.... Comfort: Theses gloves are very comfortable. Touch Screen: So far no issues. Durability: After about one month of using these gloves They have ripped open on the finger pad side of both gloves middle fingers (photos added). Warmth: Working in a reefer trailer that has a freezer and cooler section my hands have stayed pretty warm so I would say no issues in that department. I have found out that if I tear some duct tape length wise and tape around the finger tips where the rips/holes have occurred I can make these gloves last months longer! I had my first pair for over a year and they were the best fitting and most comfortable gloves to use. I bought this pair from Amazon since I cant find the elastic band at my local "Big Box Orange and Blue" any more and I'm not a fan of the velcro pair. They are tight to start but once you wear them a few times, the leather stretches just enough to provide a snug fit without being too loose or tight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Read more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these gloves from Amazon several months before I actually needed them to have on hand when my other gloves became worn out. Unfortunately, when I finally went to use them, I was already out of the 90 day Mechanix glove warranty period. I had used these gloves lightly only two times to stack firewood when I noticed that I had already worn a hole in the fingertip. The manufacture would not take care of me because I was out of the warranty period even though you can see from the video the condition of the gloves was brand new. These gloves are made out of second rate materials and I would not recommend them. The manufacturer did not step up and take care of me either. It was just a waste of money. Buy a pair of leather Wells Lamont leather gloves instead! Read more
