I bought a pair of this Mechanix gloves about 11 months ago for 34.99, so far so good. I used them about 15 days/month and about 9-12 hours/day. The quality is excellent, no issue so far. I have use them for shooting at the rage, driving, and other situations that requires a good pair of gloves. However, these gloves are not for touchscreen use, you'll have to remove them in order to use your touchscreen. Value for your money? I keep these in my back pocket at work everyday. These gloves are great from days at the range to warrant sweeps, and everything in between. Great dexterity, durable, they’re easy to put on and take off, and they look pretty sharp. These are the closest fit to a nitrile glove, very comfortable, and nice grip. The gloves breathe easy, and don’t get too hot on summer days. Definitely Recommend. Read more

I have purchased two sets of the recon gloves. First set was perfect and fit great but I misplaced the left glove. Second set I chose to purchase another set because these are perfect for my line of work BUT they did not fit as well as the first set and the quality was just not there. I love these gloves. They're light enough that my dexterity isn't significantly hampered but heavy enough for protection and warmth. Only downside is the durability - after a good amount of heavy work they've started to wear a bit. Can't say I'm surprised because of how thin they are, but I wouldn't like them if they were thicker. The velcro is the reverse of how one would expect and I have seen on any other glove, the soft loops are away from you and the hooks are on the floating tab pointing at you so any part that is left unconnected to the loops dig into your skin. It is a shame as otherwise the glove is great, fits as expected and the touchscreen aspect works far better than expected. Read more

*UPDATE 6/19/19* **I’ve been wearing these for a while now and they are fantastic. The stitching still holds great and the grip is still fantastic. These glove are, without a doubt, the answer to my problems.*** I bought these to ride my motorcycle. I love this brand of glove but the normal kind in the store never had enough grip for my handlebars. So I ordered these. When they first came in I didn’t think they’d work... WOW... I was pleasantly wrong. They fit great and comfortable. The grip is phenomenal and when I stop and check my phone I no longer need to take off my gloves. I’m sure they’ll eventually wear out but I DEFINITELY WILL BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN. Read more

These are not the older model gloves depicted with goatskin leather. They now have a synthetic, neoprene like grip, which look and feel cheap. Furthermore, they ripped at the seam the second time I wore them. I will not buy these again unless the quality goes back to what it used to be. Read more
