Put the OtterBox Defender XT on my Galaxy Z Fold7 and it’s exactly what I wanted—solid protection without killing usability. Hinge protection is well thought out and doesn’t feel loose or gimmicky. Phone feels secure in the case, buttons still work properly, and it opens and closes smoothly. Adds some bulk, but that’s the trade-off for real protection, especially on a foldable. If you actually use your phone and don’t baby it, this case is worth the money. Typical OtterBox quality—tough, well-designed, and dependable. Great case. Love it protects the charging port below the phone. Makes the fold open screen way more user friendly to open and use compared to slimmer cases. Only fault I notice is the raised sides make it hard to type when the phone is shut. Other than that it's awesome and fits well on the side pocket of my Truewerk pants. Read more

Worst OtterBox defender case I've ever used. The protection seems ok but no screen protection of any kind. The case does not have any kind of built in kickstand, which is a ridiculous oversight considering its for the fold. Also no silicone back. Case is slippery and uneven on the back so you can't lay it flat on any surface. Placing it on a regular puck charger requires laying it at an angle do to the protrusion of the protective ring around the camera lenses. This weird angle along with the slippery plastic back and no silicone means the phone slides off the charger very easily if bumped. Oh, and it's $100. Read more

It's overpriced but it's good The case really should not be more than 50 to $60 they're charging you $100 and you don't even get the holster with it anymore some come with a coupon to get it for free mine did not but it is an OtterBox and it is solid in fact I accidentally stepped on it as it fell out of my seat this afternoon and that's not a scratch on it if I wouldn't have had the case on there it would have been broken so thanks OtterBox. Was worried about this being the only option provided by Otterbox, I usually prefer the symmetry line. Nonetheless, this is by far the best case I have seen and is drastically better than the spigen version that was thinner but in my opinion was meaningless. This truly feels better in hand, device seems truly protected, and is not bulky. I wouldnt prefer a hinge protector but every option I found without was more or less a skin. I choose not to break my phone... So I try to get a case that will prevent accidents not an apocalypse. Hence why I usually go for symmetry, but since not available I had to try the defender and feel like it is just drastically better then everything else. Read more

Absolutely love this case! Was a little concerned about the the added thickness to my phone, but honestly doesn't bother me. The hinge protection is awesome, probably my favorite part of the case, it's super easy to apply, feels great in the hand, and looks great. I couldn't recommend this case more to anyone looking for a great case. Read more

It felt good to hold and it fit perfectly. The only issue that I had was I dropped it once and the hinge protector broke off. The drop was only about 18 inches off the ground too so it wasn't even that bad of a drop. Thankfully the phone is fine so it did protect my phone but now I have to buy another phone case. Read more
