After two months of daily use at the shop, this razor still feels sturdy and solid. It has a good weight—not too heavy, not too light—which makes it really easy to handle and control during detailed shaving and close trims. Read more

A nice upgrade from my Parker SR1. Weight is nice and while some may prefer a lightweight razor, I'm looking for sturdier with a bit of heft and this provides that. It's very well made and the clip holds the blade quite well with zero worries about blade slippage. Very happy with this purchase and while the attractive black finish will probably scratch and chip over time (aka...showing signs of love) this feels like it will last a lifetime if taken care of. Recommend for those who are a bit old school in their grooming like me. I retired the SR1 and this is now my go to. Read more

Good quality and doesn’t give razor burn. Recommend astra blades rather than the ones that come with it. Read more

Trash stick with original Parker silver metal. The clips don’t hold blade. Blade protrudes from the razor. Read more

I used the razor a few times but experienced whisker tug and abrasiveness. (Note: I normally shave once a week. Start with a single blade straight razor and finish with a double edge safety razor.) Some of my whiskers would become trapped between the blade and the razor body. The reason was that the two pieces that pinch and hold the blade were not parallel but one had a slight curve leaving a narrow gap. I did do my best to "tweak" and get the gap out. Unfortunately I did not think to take pictures prior to doing this. However, you can see in the pictures I have taken since where the gap was. You can see the two pieces that should be parallel touching each other at the ends. I included a picture of another razor (competitor brand) that doesn't have this issue. The Parker razor feels great in my hand and shaved well from the one side that wasn't curved. The other side feels "off" when shaving. Read more

Purchased in November. Broke in January. UPDATE: Replaced by this seller, which I appreciate. Razor is a nice weight and cuts well, but the top piece is fragile and may break off like mine did. Read more
