First, the only feature I disliked was having to unscrew the ball to turn it on/off/change speeds. I suppose that is the only place where a dog can't damage the controls. Otherwise, this toy is worth it's reasonable price. The seller has an excellent photo array that accurately presents the toy & its inner workings. Inside, colored-lights indicate speeds: yellow, purple & blue. Interactive mode responds to a dog's touch, turning itself on. A great feature is the auto turn-off so the battery isn't drained. In Interactive mode, it enters Standby mode in a speedy 25 seconds; 5 minutes for other modes. Seller states the full charging time is 3 hrs. It's just over 4"H, & larger than I expected. It has 2 short lengths of rope that flop around as the ball rolls. This scared the heck out of my Corgi, but she is adjusting to it;. It's recommended for medium & large dogs. She is reactive & timid w/new things. Slow & Interactive, is best for working on acceptance issues: fast is pretty energetic. Our cat likes the fast mode, but doesn't interact much. We get a good laugh watching the pets startle at start-up in Interactive mode; they definitely need time to acclimate to smelling it & having it start to toss itself around. It's best to firmly tighten, being careful to not overtighten & risk cracking. The toy is made from hard plastic w/medium grade thickness, w/no loose parts except for the rope pieces. All controls are safe inside, & it likely needs a very hard blow to crack during flipping & flopping. It works on our firm area rug & will likely operate well on all but the thickest carpets. It makes strong movements & I wonder if it would slightly scratch hardwood floors. The product page says indoors & outdoors, but I would hesitate to use it much outdoors. Moisture/sand/dirt inside would likely damage the controls. Good idea to check inside after using on grass--I don't recommend pavement at all. This isn't a flimsy toy, but it still needs reasonable care taken when using. It is definitely worth its price. Read more

Looked fine in the beginning but survived only about 10 minutes with my lab. He cracked the case and pulled the motor out pulling the rope. I guess its not the best toy for larger dogs. Read more
The product description says this toy is for medium to large dogs, but that’s misleading. This is really more suited for small to medium pups. Our dog is about 45 lbs, and the ball was way too small for him — more of a novelty than a real play toy. He enjoyed it for a bit, but quickly lost interest once he realized it didn’t do much else. It’s a cute idea and works fine, just not the right size or level of engagement for a bigger dog. Read more
My puppy (30 pounds and growing) loves this toy. He will play for hours with it. However, it is heavy and when he shakes it around I fear for the breakables. I high recommend it but just be careful when he/she is playing with it. Read more
Took a chance and ended up pleasantly surprised. We've got two dogs (a mastiff/Corso mix and a pit mix) so I was concerned about the durability. So far so good. Our super chewer (8 month old pit mix) loves this thing and will stomp and chase it all over the place. Thankfully, she hasn't tried to chew the actual ball. She just uses the rope. She does shake it around and frequently bangs it against things, including her head, and it's still working. Our mastiff couldn't care less about it, but she's never been one to play with anything other than ropes and occasionally a small tire. I do still have some durability concerns, but so far so good. It's kinda noisy but nothing too crazy. It's definitely fun and entertaining for our pit mix. It's made pretty well and seems like a good buy if you can catch it on sale. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is a super interactive toy. But I’ve only had it for 6 hours and she’s already chewed the plastic. I double checked if it was recommended for medium dogs or aggressive chewers. It is not. Read more
