If I could go back in time, I would have never caved in to pressure from the saleswoman to buy this curling iron despite my reservations. Yes, it creates beautiful waves, but that is not worth the price I paid last week with a second degree burn on my arm right before the holidays. Fortunately, it was just my arm, but this is the most dangerous curling iron I have ever used. There is no protection over the burning hot barrel. I threw this item out and am extremely unhappy with this product. Yes, I used it safely several times before burning myself, but the problem is if you get at all distracted, it is extremely easy to get hurt. Read more

IF you know how to use it without getting burned, it's great and my hair holds the curls for 2 whole days with loose waves on the third (no it's not gross to not wash your hair and still shower) you don't have to be a pro but the tip of the barrel gets hot, so use common sense and don't touch your skin the the end :) Read more
