Bought this for the bedroom we converted the garage into. There is no way to change the dehumidifier setting so it dried out the room too much. The heater worked ok but would stop when it reached the temperature and not turn back on even when the temp dropped without messing with the buttons. When it said that it will heat up, I didn't think it would so when it arrived, I tried that and boy can it heat up a room. I did turn that off and immediately started the AC cooling and that helped cool off the room. Not only does it feel great but even with a room that can get stuffy, this cools it off in nothing flat. There have even been times where I have to turn up my home's AC because it's too cold in the family room. What's really great about this machine is that when we had a birthday party, we didn't have to run our AC constantly because of this machine. It not only kept our living, dining, and kitchen cool but some people actually got too cold and had to move. This thing is quiet enough that I accidentally left it on when we left for the day. Came back and our living area was super cold. This did come with an exhaust kit for our window but we actually don't use it and this thing still works great. I don't suggest using this with old plugs as it did cause the break to shut off. However, our home is more up to date so we haven't had any problems with that. Read more

Loves this AC unit. It takes relatively little time to set up and operate this equipment. I think the unit looks great; it has a really contemporary appearance. It works wonderfully to chill a spare room that isn't directly exposed to the central air conditioning system. This has also helped the room next to it. The remote control is the best feature. The media could not be loaded. I really love this all in one unit that we use all year long. In the winter we have the option to use it as a heater. It’s great for heating up the lower portion of the house. It also has a dehumidifier and a drainage hose. We’re able to use the dehumidifier during the spring time when the humidity is high in the basement. In the summertime we switch this to an air conditioning unit and carry it to the second story of our home. We also like the fact that there is a shutter at the top of the unit. The shutter opens up for air to blow out. And there’s also, the option to have that shutter go up and down so that the air doesn’t go directly up towards the ceiling but can be fed throughout the room. It is portable to move from room to room and with two people we can transport it between the different floors of our home. It has a touchscreen interface on the front of the unit. It also comes with a remote control with an LCD screen. Our favorite feature, though, is the app that connects directly to our echo device. Anyone can power it on and adjust the temp simply by asking our echo device to do so. There’s more features on the app than available just on the device. Read more
