It seems everyone these days is making a docking station of some sort. Dell has been making them for years, but most of the good ones that are AC powered versus USB-C powered are more on the pricier end--closer to $100+. This dock is not much different. I didn't realize when I was buying it that it was a renewed version, but it comes packaged in a generic brown box. The HDMI cable is brand new and packaged. The microfiber cloth was just thrown in there, but then the AC adapter and the dock itself were packaged and sealed in separate bags. I'm a Mac guy, and so wasn't using this on a Dell or any PC for that matter. This one had all the ports I needed, including 3 USB-A ports, two display port, 1 HDMI, 2 USB-C, and a gigabit ethernet port. It also has 180w of power, so should be able to provide sufficient power for all of those devices that are plugged in. I have found it does charge my 14" MacBook Pro just fine as well, which was a nice bonus I wasn't expecting. While this is $130, and you can find pretty comparable hubs out there for a similar price, there is something to say about having a name brand one. Dell is a great brand, and puts out good products.
