This is not the first pair of shoes that I have reviewed for OrthoComfoot. I bought a previous pair of a different style. I was so impressed by the earlier pair that I ordered the second pair. This time I ordered grey, and they are oxfords, in that they tie and are walking shoes. They have leather uppers and interior with a manufactured foot bed that is removable. My feet present issues and I've worn custom orthotic insoles for over 18 years because of this. That being said, with the shoes by OrthoComfoot, I am able to remove the custom orthotic insoles and just wear the shoes as they are! I WAS AMAZED! The sole, insole and support structure of these shoes is so good and comfortable that I have no foot pain from planters’ fasciitis or any other issues when wearing my new shoes. Wearing these shoes is similar to walking on a bed of air, they are that comfortable! I haven't purchased shoes for style for those 18 years because the support and feeling are the two primary features that I look for in a shoe. I also NEVER buy shoes online because I cannot try them on first. But I relented when I found these shoes by OrthoComfoot. So comfortable, so supportive, so dependable, that I can now order shoes online once again! If you have feet that have special needs, treat yourself to a pair of these. They are the BEST. I have a friend who suffers from neuropathy of the feet. There are times when he quite literally can’t walk for days due to the excruciating pain. We visited a Go*d Fe*t store and was dumbfounded at the fact they charge $1,400 for inserts for your existing shoes that are NOT even custom made to fit your specific feet. Believe it or not they’re generic and made to fit a multitude of different types of feet with a wide range of issues. We decided to go online and see what we could find for a reasonable price. Luckily we stumbled across these shoes on Amazon. Given the overall exemplary reviews we ordered both the gray and brown pairs. Upon receiving the shoes and wearing them he found that the neuropathy issues were greatly improved (so much so that he no longer experiences any pain that prevents him from walking). Once in a while his feet are uncomfortable, however, this is easily solved by wearing a pair of orthopedic socks overnight and by the next morning he’s good to go. So, bottom line is I recommend these shoes wholeheartedly. If you have issues with your feet then add these to your cart and check out immediately. You’ll find yourself in a different mindset wearing these shoes. They’re worth every penny and then some. I sincerely hope this review helps others. The shoes themselves were awesome. However, I ordered a size 13 and TWICE I was sent a size 12. I never ended up getting the correct size. It’s unfortunate since the shoes were great quality. Read more
