OtterBox continues to make top grade products. I’ve been using OtterBox cases on iPhones for years. An innumerable amount of times I’ve dropped my phones through the years have resulted in no damage on any of them. The case is easy to install, and I know I’ve got prime protection on my device. I will never buy any other brand of phone case. Why switch when I’m already using the best for the price? I imagine other cases out there might offer more protection, but I don’t see how. I’ve always been a fan of OtterBox since I got my first iPhone SE. it’s saved many of my phones (from falls, drops, rain puddles…you name it) over the years. I teach preschool and am very rough with my phone myself, so durability is the most important thing to me when it comes to phone covers. I recently upgraded to the newest iPhone 17 Pro and was sad to see that the brand in the defender series wasn’t offered at my local T-Mobile. They tried to talk me into the Pelican and said it was just as good. The first day back at school, the phone fell off of my belt loop, out of my chair, popped out of the Pelican belt clip AND case and cracked the screen cover (which I didn’t purchase a warranty for because my OtterBox covers always protected my glass covers too). I ordered a set of cheaper glass protectors on Amazon (which also held up better than the one from the phone shop), and gave the case another try. It happened again but this time the glass protector didn’t break. I finally stopped wearing my phone at work but it got to the point where it was constantly popping out of the belt clip while I was out and about shopping with nothing touching it. The OtterBox cases and belt clips never did that. After a few more falls, I broke down and ordered the OtterBox and never looked back. The case has the extra layer of protection where it snaps around the phone before you put the other part of the case over it, preventing it from falling out and hurting the screen when it is accidentally dropped. The belt clip is free on the site when you purchase the case, and it will not randomly drop your phone like other brands on the market. The set is durable and will protect your phone. Needed a case for my 17 year old son, so obviously max protection was the goal. My wife used to use Defender cases exclusively in her iPhone back in the 5/6/7 days. Glad to say it’s as good as I remember. They covered the camera control button this year, which is good and an improvement over last year where they’d just cut out a hole in the case and called it a day. I thought about getting one for my 16 Pro, but that changes my mind. I guess to moral there is wait a year before getting a case when Apple adds a new button. Hopefully this will stand up to the abuse of a 17 year old teen boy. At least if it doesn’t, I doubt any other case will, lol. One last thing, get a screen protector. This is a good bulky case, got for my wife. She didn't like it as it is bulky and a little bit slippery. Other than that, it is a very good case, protects the phone well. It is pricey. Due to it's thickness, you can't really trust this if you want to put this against Anker's wireless charger etc. Read more

Solid phone case. My only concern is that I wish the case was tighter fitting along the front/screen since the borders of the phone are visible. Otherwise, it meets the usual OtterBox design that’s kept me coming back. Also enjoying being able to take advantage of the MagSafe option on my phone, while still feeling confident that it’s being protected by a safe phone case. Read more

This is a superior device if you value protecting your thousand dollar phone. I might add that this has a two sided frame that fits around the phone before the phone, within that frame, fits inside the heavy duty silicone protector. This is the best I have seen for iphone protection. I did get another one from the same company at a Verizon store. It was twice the price and half the protection. Durable case without being too bulky. Stands up to use by our teenage sons. It is a bit pricey for what it is, however we have been using otter box cases for all our phones for over 10 years without incurring any damage so we will stick with them despite the cost. Read more
